About Cheryl's Dance Centre
Our Legacy
Cheryl's Dance Centre has been a cornerstone of the Reidsville community for 45 years for recreational and competitive dancers. With a rich history of nurturing talent, we teach dancers from ages 18 months to adults, creating a vibrant dance family. The studio is owned by Cheryl Williams and co-owned by her daughter Ashley Wade. CDC offers a variety of different styles of dance!
Cheryl's Dance Centre' has performed in many October festivals in downtown Reidsville, NC. We have performed in the Macy's Day Parade in New York City and had the opportunity to take classes with well-known choreographers. We have performed in the Orange Bowl Halftime Show in Florida with Kool and The Gang (which was televised). We also had the opportunity to take classes in Florida with Cris Judd, Mandy Moore, Longinus Fernandes, Stacy Walker and The Spellman Sisters. We have performed in the Harlem Globetrotters Halftime Show in Danville, VA and The Greensboro Swarms Halftime show in Greensboro, NC. The dancers have also performed at Carowinds, several malls for Christmas performances, local nursing homes as well as local church events. Catch us performing at upcoming events all season long!
Cheryl's Dance Centre' has attended many dance conventions such as: Ray Hollingsworth, Tremaine, ShowStoppers and Hollywood Dance Jamz. Some of the artists we have taken classes from were: Marty Dew, Laurie Johnson, Keri LaGrand, Douglas Caldwell, Joe Tremaine, Angel Roberts, Hayley Mac, Joshua Allen, Janelle Issis, Gev Manoukian, Geo Hubela, KC Monnie, Dena Rizzo, Courtney Russ, Aaron Burr, Barry Youngblood, Joy Spears, Melissa Emrico, Marko Germar, Julie Kay Stallcup and Richard Elszy.
